CIS to host Party in the Park

 

Campbellsville Independents Schools will host a “Party in the Park” to celebrate the start of the new school year.

 

The party will be Monday, Aug. 12, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Miller Park playground.

 

There will be free food, games, family activities and t-shirts.

CHS soccer team hosts youth summer camp

 

Campbellsville High School soccer team recently hosted its annual summer camp.

 

Twenty local children attended.

 

Campers learned fundamentals of the game, and competed in several blocking, kicking and scoring drills.

CHS boys’ basketball team hosts youth camp

 

Campbellsville High School boys’ basketball team recently hosted a youth camp, with about 20 attending.

 

Camp was open to students who will be in third through eighth grades next school year.

 

Campers learned the basic fundamentals of basketball, along with discipline and a strong work ethic.

Campbellsville High School girls’ basketball team recently hosted a youth camp.

 

Camp was open to students in kindergarten through eighth grade next school year.

 

Campers received individualized instruction from CHS girls’ basketball coaches and players, a t-shirt and free lunch.

 

About 20 campers recently attended Campbellsville High School girls’ basketball youth camp.
