CIS superintendent gets a pie in the face for charity

 

Campbellsville Independent Schools Superintendent Kirby Smith recently got a pie in the face to raise money for local charities.

 

Smith participated in Taylor County Bank’s Charity Harvest event on Friday, Oct. 12.

CHS to celebrate football homecoming

 

Campbellsville High School will celebrate football homecoming next week, with dress-up days, games, the crowning of a king and queen, a parade, chili supper and more.

 

There will be a dress up theme each day, along with a spirit game. Students will compete to win points for their class, and, at the end of the week, a winner will be announced.

CMS girls’ basketball team takes on Taylor County

 

Campbellsville Middle School girls’ basketball team recently took on Taylor County.

 

Eighth-graders got an easy win.

 

Final score was 27-12.

CHS to give away prizes during football homecoming game

 

Campbellsville High School will celebrate football homecoming the week of Oct. 15, with dress-up days, games, the crowning of a king and queen, parade, chili supper and more.

 

The week will end with a football game vs. Caverna, and two Kindle Fire devices and two flat screen televisions will be given away during the game.

 

The game will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Dave Fryrear Stadium.
