CES students plan for their futures

 

Campbellsville Elementary School third-grade students are planning for their futures.

 

Hannah Jones, Patty Haley, Marcia Sharp and Tracey Rinehart are helping their students think about what they want to be when they get older.

CMS students discuss what makes them succeed

 

Campbellsville Middle School eighth-graders are discussing what makes them succeed in the classroom, and giving advice to their teachers as to how to help them.

 

In Paige Cook’s language arts and reading class, students were recently given several post-it notes and asked to answer some questions.

CMS science students perform experiment

 

Campbellsville Middle School science students recently performed an experiment to test the absorbency of paper towels.

 

In Steven Gumm’s science class, students are learning about how to conduct experiments and interpret data.

CIS hosts Party in the Park

 

Campbellsville Independents Schools hosted a “Party in the Park” on Monday, Aug. 6, to celebrate the start of the new school year.

 

The party was at the Miller Park playground and ball fields.

 

About 1,000 people attended.

 

Attendees were treated to free food, games, family activities and t-shirts.
