CES students attend City Council meeting

Campbellsville Elementary School fifth-grade students recently attended a Campbellsville City Council meeting.

 

In their social studies classes, students are learning about the branches of government.

 

Students have learned that City Council members govern the City of Campbellsville.

 

To help make their studies come alive, students attended the City Council meeting on Monday, Feb. 5, at the Campbellsville Civic Center.

 

Students learned how governmental meetings work, including the order of business and the role of the mayor, city attorney and Council members.
