CES students create Pop Art

Campbellsville Elementary School students are creating Pop Art.

In Adrienne Hash’s class, students are learning about the Pop Art movement, which includes art created based on imagery from popular culture.

Hash asked her students to choose an object and draw it in four sections on a piece of paper.

Next, students colored their objects using complementary colors to create contrast and emphasis.

Students used markers, colored pencils and watercolor paints to create their artwork.
