CES kindergarteners practice counting

Campbellsville Elementary School kindergarten students are practicing counting.

Students recently focused on counting from one to 20, and had some fun in the process.

To help them see the numbers together, students made giraffes out of a number line.

First, students were given a worksheet of numbers and traced them, cut them out and then put the numbers in order.

Next, students cut out a picture of a giraffe and colored it.

Lastly, the students glued their giraffe to the number line, with the numbers representing the giraffe’s long neck.
