CES students practice regrouping

Campbellsville Elementary School students are learning about regrouping in their math classes.

 

In Lynne Horn’s second-grade class, students are working hard to learn addition and subtraction, with some help from regrouping.

 

Regrouping is the process of placing numbers in groups of tens to make addition and subtraction easier.

 

Horn and other teachers use the technique to help their students add and subtract easily.
