Campbellsville Elementary School artists recently learned to draw still lifes.
In Adrienne Hash’s art class, students learned that a still life shows a group of objects in an interesting composition.
Students looked at several still lifes and studied the different shapes, lines and colors artists use when making the objects look realistic.
To test their skills, students drew a vase with flowers, with two pumpkins sitting beside it.
Hash asked students to think about the composition of their work, along with the size and detail of the objects.
