CMS students make solar system models

Campbellsville Middle School students recently made models of the solar system.

In Jan Speer’s sixth-grade science class, students learned about the many parts of the solar system.

As a project for the unit, students were divided into groups and given the task of making their own solar system model.

Students were asked to place the planets in their proper order and the distance they are from each other.

After their models were complete, students presented them for their classmates.

Students were graded on their creativity and how well the model was put together and labeled with factual information.
