CHS students perform community service

Campbellsville High School seniors recently performed community service while earning money for project graduation.

CHS seniors and their parents volunteered to clean about 10 miles of roadway.

The group cleaned portions of Bear Track Road and Palestine Road.

As a result of their work, the students were given $750 to use toward the cost of project graduation.

Project graduation is a celebration open exclusively to high school seniors who have just graduated.

At project graduation, graduates play games, win prizes and eat together. The event is likely one of the last times the class will be together as a group.
