CMS football teams end season

Campbellsville Middle School football team recently ended its season with several post-season wins.

 

On Tuesday, Oct. 3, the seventh-grade team defeated Edmonson County.

 

Final score was 41-14.

 

Eighth-graders fought hard against Edmonson County, and eventually got the win.

 

Final score was 38-36 in double overtime.

 

With the wins, the seventh- and eighth-grade teams advanced to the first round of the Kentucky Middle School Football Association tournament.

 

On Saturday, Oct. 7, CMS seventh-graders defeated Drakes Creek Middle School by a score of 12-0 to advance to the second round of the tournament.

 

Eighth-graders fought hard against Glasgow, but couldn’t get the win. The loss ended the team’s season.

 

And on Saturday, Oct. 14, in the second round of the tournament, CMS seventh-graders battled to overtime but couldn’t defeat Graves County.
