CHS football team drops close game to Russell County

Campbellsville High School football team dropped a close game to Russell County on Friday, Sept. 29.

 

At halftime, CHS led the match up by a score of 6-0.

 

CHS took the lead at 20-6 in the third quarter, but allowed two touchdowns near the end of the fourth frame.

 

After the last Russell County touchdown, the team kicked an extra point to make the score 20-21, which was the final score.

 

Dale Estes is the head CHS football coach.

 

Assistant coaches are Tyler Hardy, Robbie Gribbins, Herb Wiseman, Bronson Gowdy, Aaron Webb and Will Griffin.

 

CHS will host Bethlehem on Friday, Oct. 13. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
