CES students make purple people eaters

Campbellsville Elementary School students recently made their own purple people eaters.

Kindergarteners are studying colors each week.

During the unit on purple, students studied objects that are always purple and enjoyed snacks that are purple.

And, as an activity, students made their own purple people eaters.

Students cut out a circle for the face and eye and a triangle for the hat.

As finishing touches, students drew a mouth with a snaggletooth and added glitter for the hair.

When finished, the purple people eaters were hung up in the hallway.
