CES students practice lockdown procedures

Campbellsville Elementary School students recently practiced their lockdown emergency procedures.

CES personnel administer several drills each month, including fire drills, earthquake drills, lockdown drills and more.

Recently, CES students practiced what they should do if their campus undergoes a lockdown.

Students were instructed to quietly move to a corner in their room and sit together, among other instructions.

Teachers discussed the importance of practicing the drills and knowing what to do in an emergency situation.

Campbellsville Police officers came to the school to assist CES administrators with the lockdown drill.
