Campbellsville Middle School fourth-grader Averi Perkins competed and won an award at this year’s Taylor County 4-H Talk Meet on Tuesday, March 28.
Perkins scored higher than a 80 in the 9-year-old competition and received a blue ribbon, which is the top ribbon given.
When competing in the second round, Perkins was named reserve champion.
Perkins’s speech was about hedgehogs.
