Campbellsville Middle School volleyball teams took on Casey County on Tuesday, March 21, for the last regular season game.
The seventh-grade squad defeated Casey County by a score of 2-0.
Despite battling to a third game, CMS eighth-graders couldn’t get the win. Final score was 1-2.
CMS ended its season on Thursday, March 23.
The seventh- and eighth-graders took on Hart County in the first round of the Central Kentucky Middle School Athletic Conference tournament.
Despite battling hard, CMS lost both matches.
CMS seventh-graders end their season as CKMSAC regular season champions, with a record of 13-1.
This is the first CMS volleyball conference championship since 2007.
