CIS donates money, hair to St. Baldrick’s foundation

A group of Campbellsville Independent Schools’ students and administrators recently donated money – and their hair – to the St. Baldrick’s children’s cancer research foundation.

Two students and an administrator had their heads shaved on Saturday at the annual St. Baldrick’s Shaving for a Cure event.

And a Campbellsville Elementary School kindergartener got to help shave his dad’s head.

Campbellsville Middle School fourth-grader Rowan Petett and fifth-grader Daniel Caton shaved their heads, as did Director of Pupil Personnel/Food Services Jeff Richardson.

And CES kindergartener Jackson Wright helped shave his dad Jay’s head.

All money raised will be donated to the foundation, which works to find a cure for children’s cancer and supports those who are battling cancer.
