CES students ‘level up’ with Lexia

Campbellsville Elementary School students who recently “leveled up” with the Lexia and Reading Plus programs were honored at a school-wide assembly on Thursday, Feb. 16.

 

Lexia and Reading Plus are technology-based reading programs that help increase reading proficiency for pre-kindergarten students through high school seniors.

 

About 175 students were recognized at CES on Feb. 16 for increasing their reading proficiency level using the programs from Feb. 6-14.

 

Several classes were honored for meeting 100 percent usage on Lexia and/or Reading Plus for the week of Feb. 6. They include Lisa Wiseman’s and Leanna Cundiff’s kindergarten classes, Amanda Greer’s and Hailey Ogle’s first-grade classes and Marcia Sharp’s third-grade class.

 

Kindergarteners honored include Davian Taylor, Madison Wilhoite, Jason Eggers, Ayden Andrew, Aubreigh Knifley, Treshaun Robinson, Daven Davis, Zoe Weddle, Lillie Judd, Kaiden Bradfield, Demarcus Noyola, Kasen Smith, Brayden Dyer, Hannah Matais, Delaney Staton, Ava Bennett-Marr, Cera Rooker, Mikaylah Flynn, Gage Henderson, Natalee Shaw, Aubrey Wilson, Aubrey Allen, Ethan Lewis, Caleb Goodson, Cloud Malone, Carson Montes, Destinee Henry-Turner, Marlee Dickens, Mason Edwards, Tyce Owens, Tristian Harris, John Hagan Newton, Aleeya Spaulding, Gracie Gebler, Briley Sapp, Kylei Thompson, NyJah Vaught and Aubrey Novak.

 

First-graders honored include Molly Wolford, Daniel Richardson, Kadance Ford, Destini Gholston, Phoebe Ritchie, Kenady Hayes, Dax Gray, Lazarick Miller, Journey Webb, Lillian Martin, Drake Edwards, Ammarissa Nunez, Frehley Whitlow, Xadrian Fugate, Zion Mitchell, Eric Mixtega, Mylee Bell, Tommy Caswell, Karson Burchett, James Brunner, Bryson Gabehart, Nadia Taylor and Caleb Ortiz.

 

Second-graders honored include Zachary Cox, Gavin Martin, Camren Skaggs, Mason Davis, Tye Rhodes, Watson Veltman, Zayden McKenzie, Emerson Dengel, Evelyn Stancill, Trenton Harris, Ajada Smith, Devyn Tingle, Codey Parks, Elijah Spurling, Peyton Mitchell, Griffin Skaggs, Aidan Bowles, Reece Swafford, Luke Adkins, Keely Rakes, Ryan Tungate, Seamus Huber and Jazzlyn Cox.

 

Third-graders honored include Madie Gebler, Alicia Spaulding, Chance Owens, Vivian York, John Gholston, Shaiden Calhoun, Zahavah Negron, Alexis Wolford, Raelyn Dunn, Caysen Tungate, Jaden Barbee, Isaiah Jeffries, Chris Brown, Raeanna Jefferson, Cameron Taylor and Lauren Pace.
