Campbellsville High School students are learning to write poetry.
In Tyler Hardy’s English class, students are working on writing their own sonnets.
Students must use a rhyming scheme and write about a theme that involves love, whether its friendship, family, heartbreak, envy, a passion and or something they enjoy.
Hardy’s students are also writing “I Am” poems to tell about themselves and “Where I’m From” poems to discuss where they come from.
When finished, students will present their work in a poetry café for their classmates and fellow CHS students.
