Campbellsville Elementary School recently named its Leaders of the Month for the month of February.
Students chosen were selected because they excel at the fifth of the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, which is to seek first to understand, then to be understood.
The students will be honored at a luncheon on Wednesday, Feb. 28, with local community leaders.
Students chosen as Leaders of the Month include kindergarteners Mae Miller, Remi Petett, Daya Griffin, Abigail Smith, Xander Britton and LaTayvion Brown; first-graders Lillie Judd, Carol Moura, Carson Montes and Ava Bennett-Marr; second-graders Kevin Bradfield, Maddie Brunelle, Romeo Goins and Brenden Chastain; third-graders Madison Smith, Keely Rakes, KayLee Lamer, Gavin Martin and Lanigan Price; fourth-graders Alexis Graves, Ethan Garrison, Nora Harris and Keaton Hord; and fifth-graders Skylar Wilhoite, Landon Rakes, Jazzmin Coulter, Riley Newton and Lillian Sears.
