Campbellsville Elementary School fifth-graders are learning all about the federal government.
In Donna White’s social studies class, students are studying the three branches of the federal government, including the legislative, executive and judicial.
Students are discussing the responsibilities and powers of each branch and learning about checks and balances.
White is also talking to students about the Supreme Court, the House of Representatives, the Senate and the U.S. constitution.
To test their knowledge, students recently took a quiz and completed some games to help them learn, including a crossword puzzle, card sort and flashcards.
