CES students learn about angles

Campbellsville Elementary School fourth-graders are learning about angles in their math class.

In Garnetta Murrell’s class, students are studying the three different types of angles and learning to identify them.

Students are learning about the right, acute and obtuse angles, and how to measure them.

Murrell recently asked students to work in groups to measure 12 angles with a protractor.

Students had to first identify the type of angle and then practice measuring them.

The exercise was preparation for upcoming state testing, which will ask students to perform the same task.
