CES students have fun during Grinch Day

Campbellsville Elementary School kindergarteners recently spent a day having fun while learning the story of the Grinch who stole Christmas.

Students in Lisa Wiseman’s, Nikki Price’s, Leanna Cundiff’s and Kimberly Clark’s classes spent a day watching “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” making Grinch handprints, coloring the Grinch while learning sight words and making their very own Grinch snack.

Students used paint, construction paper and cotton to make their Grinch characters.

And the students were given grapes, bananas, strawberries and marshmallows to put together and make their own Grinch.

At the end of the day, students were surprised when the Grinch himself visited their classrooms.
