Campbellsville Elementary School’s Leaders of the Month for the month of April were recently honored with a luncheon.
Teachers choose one student from their classrooms who exhibit leadership skills throughout the month to be named a Leader of the Month.
And, at the end of the month, CES Lighthouse Team members host a lunch to honor the students.
Community leaders are invited and the CES leaders are given the opportunity to talk and eat with them.
Community guests included Michael Rodenberg, president of Murakami North America; local author Diana Derringer; John Ogle, assistant operations manager at Overhead Door Co.; Larry Smith, operations manager at WVLC; Dave DeBrot, financial advisor at Edward Jones; and Peggy Richardson, director of counseling services at Campbellsville University.
Students honored include kindergarteners Gage Henderson, Bentley Shively, Caleb Goodson and Braxton Rhodes, first-graders Shylan Dunn, Parker Hamilton, Sawyer Lange, Jaxson Hunt, Kevin Bradfield and Brendan Martin, second-graders Peyton Mitchell, Baylee Pike, Trever Lasley, Cayleigh Underwood and Evan Cundiff and third-graders Ethan Irwin, Keaton Hord, Zehavah Negron, John Gholston and Raelyn Dunn.
