Campbellsville Elementary School Wings Express students recently enjoyed some time on the playground.
During a sunny afternoon, students went outside to swing, slide and have fun together.
Wings Express is a program to help students with homework and other activities. Students receive help with reading, math, science, technology, social skills and more. They also participate in activities to learn about nutrition.
Wings Express students stay at school from 3 to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Fridays for activities.
Students are given a snack and then divided into groups to participate in programs that best fit their needs.
About 90 students will participate in the Wings Express program.
Amanda Barnett is Wings Express director.
