Campbellsville Elementary School kindergarten students recently learned about George Washington in honor of Presidents Day.
Students in Leanna Cundiff’s class learned about several former presidents, and then made their very own George Washington figures out of construction paper.
Cundiff told students about what a president does, and why knowing about them is important.
To make their miniature George Washingtons, students used construction paper for his body, a coffee filter for his shirt and then used cotton for his hair.
