CES students plan for their futures

 

Campbellsville Elementary School third-grade students are planning for their futures.

 

Hannah Jones, Patty Haley, Marcia Sharp and Tracey Rinehart are helping their students think about what they want to be when they get older.

CIS hosts Party in the Park

 

Campbellsville Independents Schools hosted a “Party in the Park” on Monday, Aug. 6, to celebrate the start of the new school year.

 

The party was at the Miller Park playground and ball fields.

 

About 1,000 people attended.

 

Attendees were treated to free food, games, family activities and t-shirts.

CES students practice coloring

 

Campbellsville Elementary School kindergarten students are spending time reading, coloring and studying new words and letters.

 

In Leanna Cundiff’s class, students recently colored a First Day of School worksheet.

 

When they complete kindergarten, students will look back at the sheets to see how far they have advanced in their writing and coloring skills.

CES students see great start to school year

 

Campbellsville Elementary School students have had a great start to the new school year.

 

The first day of the school year was Wednesday, Aug. 8.

 

Students spent the first week getting to know their teachers and classmates, learning classroom, hallway and cafeteria expectations and more.
