CES guidance counselor receives Change Award

 

Campbellsville Elementary School Guidance Counselor Sonya Orberson received the Change Award at the Campbellsville Board of Education meeting on Monday, June 11.

 

Campbellsville Independent Schools Superintendent Kirby Smith honors three Change Award winners each month, including a certified and classified employee and a community member.

 

Orberson received the certified Change Award for the month of May, but was unable to attend the Board meeting that month.

CHS soccer team hosts first summer camp

 

Campbellsville High School soccer team recently hosted its first summer camp.

 

About 20 local children attended.

CES students have fun at fifth-grade celebration

 

Campbellsville Elementary School fifth-grade students recently had fun at a celebration hosted in their honor.

 

Teachers hosted the fifth-grade celebration at Phillips Lanes Bowling Alley to celebrate the students completing elementary school.

CES Wings Express program receives donation

 

Campbellsville Elementary School Wings Express program recently received a donation from a local business.

 

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home donated $100 to the program for its summer expenses.

 

Making the donation was Owner Judy Dabney.
