CMS state Beta candidate delivers speech

Campbellsville Middle School students will attend the state Beta convention next week, and have spent many weeks preparing.

Chase Hord, a seventh-grader, is campaigning for the secretary position, and has spent this week preparing his speech and skit.

To get some practice, Hord presented his speech at the Campbellsville Elementary School assembly on Friday, Jan. 26.

Hord and his classmates will attend the Kentucky Junior Beta Convention on Jan. 31 through Feb. 2 at the Lexington Convention Center.

CMS teachers Robbilyn Speer and Paige Cook sponsor the Beta Club.
