CES, CMS and CHS choirs to present fall concert

Campbellsville elementary, middle and high school choirs will present a fall concert on Sunday, Nov. 5.

 

The concert will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Hamilton Auditorium on the Campbellsville High School campus.

 

The performance is free and open to the public.

 

Choir members have been rehearsing for several weeks, and will present musical selections from a variety of genres.

 

Campbellsville elementary, middle and high school choirs will present a fall concert on Sunday, Nov. 5.    The concert will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Hamilton Auditorium on the Campbellsville High School campus.    The performance is free and open to the public.

 

The second-grade choir will sing “Thanksgiving Makes Me Sing,” “The Turkey Boogie” and “Yankee Doodle.”

 

The third- through fifth-grade choir will sing “Kyrie Eleison” and “Boogie Woogie Choo-Choo.” The group will combine with the CMS choir to sing “Bowling Green.”

 

The CMS group will sing “Kuna Karamu” and “How Far I’ll Go” and combine with the CHS choir to sing “We Are the World.”

 

And the CHS group will sing “How Can I Keep from Singing” and “Inscription of Hope.”

 

The choirs are under the direction of music teachers Cyndi Chadwick and Jessica Floyd.
