CHS volleyball team hosts camp

Campbellsville High School volleyball team recently hosted a camp for students in second through eighth grades.

 

About 10 campers participated in morning and afternoon sessions, along with about 10 of the CHS players.

 

Campers included Campbellsville Elementary School third-grader Analeigh Foster, fourth-graders Nora Harris and Amaya Anguiano, fifth-grader Anna Floyd and Campbellsville Middle School sixth-graders Alexis Sharp and Ava Hughes.

 

Alissa Hughes, a fourth-grader at Hodgenville Elementary School, also attended.

 

Hadley Brasher, who attends school in Bowling Green, also attended camp, as did Braelynn Price, who attends Kentucky Christian Academy in Campbellsville.

 

Campers learned proper volleyball techniques and fundamentals such as serving, passing, setting, blocking and hitting.

 

The campers will be recognized at an upcoming home volleyball match.
