CMS track teams compete in CKMSAC meet

Campbellsville Middle School track team competed in the Central Kentucky Middle School Athletic Conference track meet on Monday, May 1, in Green County.

 

In girls’ action, seventh-grader Kitana Taylor finished first in the 100-meter dash and second in the 200.

 

Seventh-grader Aun Daya Coleman finished second in the 100-meter dash and fourth in the 200.

 

The girls’ 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams finished in first place. Members are fifth-grader Camilla Taylor, sixth-grader Whitney Frashure and seventh-graders Kitana Taylor and Aun Daya Coleman.

 

Fifth-grader Layla Steen finished third in the shot put.

 

For the boys’ team, the 4x100 relay team finished third. Members are fifth-grader Tashaun Hart, sixth-graders Camren Vicari and Damon Johnson and eighth-grader Reggie Thomas.

 

Hart finished fifth in the 100-meter dash.

 

Vicari finished fifth in the long jump.

 

And sixth-grader Levi Dicken finished fifth in shot put.

 

Katie Wilkerson is the CMS track coach.
