CMS students honored at luncheon

Campbellsville Middle School student leaders were recently honored with a luncheon.

 

Students named Leaders of the Week in the months of February and March were honored with a special pizza lunch.

 

The students’ parents were also invited to the luncheon, and adult Lighthouse Team member and seventh-grade teacher Tammy Hash introduced each of the student leaders and read why they were chosen for the Leader of the Week honor.

 

Lighthouse Team members Kaylyn Smith, Rylee Petett, Dakota Harris and Lainey Watson, who are all seventh-graders, spoke about how the Leader in Me program at CMS has helped them.

 

Students honored at the luncheon include fourth-graders Kate Billeter, Kylee Sowders, J.J. Gurley and Mackenzie Negron; fifth-graders Luke McDonald, Piper Ritchie, Jesse King and Conner Rinehart; sixth-graders Levi Dicken, Davanna Reardon, Haley Gutierrez and Kaydon Taylor; seventh-graders Kaylyn Smith, Kitana Taylor, Cailet Clark and Rylee Petett; and eighth-graders Paula Hoskins, Alanna Atwood, Natasha Combs and John Orberson.
