Campbellsville Middle School students recently celebrated its boys’ basketball team winning this year’s Central Kentucky Middle School Athletic Conference tournament championship.

The CMS boys’ eighth-grade basketball team ended its season last month with regular season and tournament championship wins.

CMS was named the regular season champions and defeated Taylor County Middle School to take home the Central Kentucky Middle School Athletic Conference tournament championship.

With the win, the team completed an undefeated season.

The team is one of few in school history to have a perfect season record.

In addition to the team’s wins, head coach Lynn Kearney received the CKMSAC Coach of the Year award for his leadership and dedication to the CMS team.
