CMS fourth-graders celebrate 100th day of school

Campbellsville Middle School fourth-grade students recently celebrated the 100th day of school.

CMS students celebrated being 100 days smarter on Thursday, Jan. 27.

In Garnetta Murrell’s class, students practiced their math skills by counting 100 rubber bands and then placing them in equal groups.

Students also used boxes of crayons and pencils to count how many boxes they would need to have 100 of each item.

Murrell’s students also ran in place and did other exercises for 100 seconds, and she read to students the book “The 100th Day of School” by Angela Shelf Medearis.
