CMS sixth-graders study U.S. regions

Campbellsville Middle School sixth-graders recently studied the five regions of the United States.

In Farrah Hord’s social studies class, students have been learning all about the different parts of the United States, and what makes each region unique.

As a culminating project, students made life-size posters of the west, midwest, southwest, northeast and southeast regions and then added objects and photos to represent them.

Objects included photos of sports teams and famous attractions to fruits and vegetables grown in specific states, and much more.

After making their posters, students presented them to their classmates.
