CMS fourth-graders visit Mammoth Cave

Campbellsville Middle School students recently visited Mammoth Cave.

Fourth-graders in Kaye Agathen’s, Garnetta Murrell’s, Maranda Wright’s and Samantha Coomer’s classes visited the cave for a tour.

They had been studying about caves in their science classes, so touring the cave made their studies come to life.

Students learned about how caves were formed, how they are used today and why they are important.
