CMS students learn about the American Revolution

 

Campbellsville Middle School eighth-graders recently learned about the American Revolution.

 

Students in Robbilyn Speer’s classes discussed the revolution and played tug of war to symbolize the battle between the British and the colonists.

Katie Campbell to teach at Eagle Center of Innovation

 

Campbellsville Independent Schools will soon open a new innovation center for students to immerse themselves in hands-on, authentic learning.

 

The Eagle Center of Innovation, also called iEagle, will open in August.

 

Four teachers have been selected to lead classes at iEagle, including lead teacher Hannah Jones and teachers Tracey Rinehart, Katie Campbell and Tyler Hardy.

CMS, CHS students exhibit artwork

 

Campbellsville middle and high school students are displaying their artwork in an exhibit at the Taylor County Public Library.

 

In honor of March being recognized as Youth Art Month, the library is hosting an exhibit of artwork made by Campbellsville Middle School advanced art students and Campbellsville High School Advanced Placement art students.

 

The library hosted a reception for the students on Thursday, March 21.

CMS choir students prepare for spring concert

 

Campbellsville Middle School choir students are preparing for their spring show.

 

CMS choir will present “Through the Decades” on Sunday, April 28, at 2:30 p.m. at Campbellsville High School’s Hamilton Auditorium.

 

The performance is free and open to the public.
