Campbellsville High School students have been invited to participate in the Lt. Governor’s Entrepreneurship Challenge.
Last school year, three CHS students won the competition and advanced to the state level.
CHS sophomore Cole Kidwell, junior Myles Murrell and senior Cass Kidwell competed last year.
The event is a tiered business pitch competition open to all Kentucky high school students. It is intended to introduce students to a realistic competitive business environment, as well as promote business ownership and lifelong learning.
The competition is a two-step process. First, students compete at region competitions, which take place in five zones across Kentucky. The top two teams from each region competition advance to state competition.
Teams must contain two, three or four students.
CHS will compete in Zone 3, which includes Meade, Breckenridge, Hardin, Grayson, LaRue, Nelson, Washington, Marion, Green, Hart, Edmonson, Butler, Warren, Logan, Simpson, Allen, Monroe, Barren, Metcalfe, Adair and Taylor counties.
The deadline to register to compete is Tuesday, Oct. 31.
