Campbellsville High School Site-Based Decision Making Council members will meet on Thursday, June 8, to discuss the search for a new CHS principal.
CHS Principal Kirby Smith will vacate his position when he becomes Campbellsville Independent Schools’ superintendent on Saturday, July 1.
At the special meeting, set to begin at 3:15 p.m. at CHS, members will discuss training necessary for members to undergo the principal selection process.
Members will also draft interview questions for candidates and establish a timeline in which a new principal will be chosen.
Throughout the process, members will gather input from CIS stakeholders as to the qualities they would like to see in a principal.
Members will also discuss the application process.
Applications for the CHS principal position are being accepted through June 22.
